Yesterday was my day off so I was spared the thrill of driving into work again along with the idiots on the road. Bruce shoveled our driveway 4 times at least yesterday and this morning was doing it again at 5am.
I wish I had an airhorn that I could blow when I drive past those people that think they can pull out in front of you and you can stop if you need to. It happens every morning on Riley Street in almost the same spot. I’m sure it’s not the same person but it just amazes me that some people are so stupid. Monday when I drove into work, I was driving about 40 mph and actually witnessed one of the idiots, who had just passed me, play tag with a semi and end up along the right shoulder facing traffic. The horn would have been nice then too. My friend Kat said she woke up at 5:30 Monday and started praying for me and Bruce said he did too, so obviously it helped! I had an ongoing conversation with God all the way into work too.
Yesterday was certainly a leisurly day, sleeping in until 8:30 am (which is rare for me) with breakfast in bed, reading my Harry Potter book and then I watched my soap at 10am on Soap Net, shower at 11am and then off for the day. I am so thrilled that I finally finished Harry Potter #6 and will start right in on the last books she wrote. I want to be through with the series and I think mainly because the books are so bloomin big, I can hardly hold it to read. Well, it’s almost time to clock in 6:49 am so I’m off and running……

Well Ann, all the idiots don’t live in Mi, Mn has a fair share of them too! We just have more of them during rush hour. It took Amy 2 hours to get to work this morning because everybody wanted to drive too fast. When it’s -15 the road builds up with what they call ‘black ice’ from car exhust. Makes it very slippery.
Congrats on the little one. My Gracie is growing like crazy. Doesn’t seem like just sort of 3 months ago, I was in thesame spot you are in your picture.

It just dawned on me that my annual cross stitch camp is coming very quickly!!! And me wanting only Marie-made socks to wear while there……..my feet get cold in the hotel!.
